- PRL Web-based Public Access Catalog (iPAC) - Search for your favorite title from home.
- TAL Web-based Public Access Catalog (iPAC) - A larger selection of books, but slower delivery time.
- Holds, requests and renewals - Manage your reading without having to leave home.

CNIB's Visunet - Providing reading material and aides for persons with visual disabilities.
The following services are available at the Blackfalds Public Library (click the title links for more information):
- Alberta Library Card - Take out books from dozens of Albertan libraries! Click for more information.
- Alberta telephone books - A huge assortment of phone books from across Alberta.
- Atlases and encyclopedias - A diversity of geographical and factual reference materials.
- Large print books - For persons with visual disabilities.
- Books in foreign languages - Read in your mother tongue or brush up on a rusty skill!
- Notice board - From garage sales to piano lessons, and everything in between.
- Photocopies - For $0.15 per page (grayscale only).
- Fax service - Send faxes to Red Deer, Rochester, Rio de Janeiro or Reykjavik!
- Best sellers - Read what they're reading in Toronto and New York.
- Magazines - An assortment of periodicals available for loan.
- Free* public access computers - Word processing, Internet, E-mail, etc. The Blackfalds Public Library is a CAP (Community Access Project) member.
- Free* public wireless Internet access hub (WIFI) - bring your laptop in and access the 'net with all the comforts of your own system.
- A diverse selection of programs and events are hosted by the Blackfalds Public Library. Click the Events and Programs link for more information.
We are currently initiating a number of new services including:
- Story writing contests
- Joke competitions
- Librarian-for-a-day program
- Adult book club
- Tutor-finder service
